A son. A brother. A grandson.
Born on May 29, 2007
Entered the presence of Jesus on September 8, 2012.

WHO IS JULIAN

Julian was my sweet, funny, goofy, beautiful, grateful, healthy, full of life little boy who unexpectedly passed away on September 8, 2012.

Two weeks after starting kindergarten, Julian came home complaining of a headache on a Friday. By the next day, at 3:57 p.m., Julian had passed away from what we later found out to be Acute Myocarditis, a rare inflammation of the heart caused by a viral infection. He had contracted a virus that attacked his heart, and within a matter of days, he was gone.

He was a proud big brother with dreams of becoming a baseball player, breakdancer and monster truck owner. He loved everything Toy Story and Justin Bieber.

What followed after losing him was years of grief, questions, confusion, desperation, anger, and searching.

Ten years later, God used that pain to bring me to the feet of Jesus Christ. This page exists to honor Julian's life, share his story, and point others to the hope that can only be found in the Messiah.

THE STATUE

The day after Julian passed, I began sharing my grief and his story online; it gained a ton of attention and a large following.

Julians dad and I spoke to a medium as a way to connect to Julian, he shared with us that Julian would love a statue made of him and placed at his favorite park.

It was something that his father wanted so badly. So, we put the idea out there and was able to raise $15,000 in a very short time for the statue to be created.

We unfortunately lost Julian's dad 8 months after Julian passed to suicide, He never got to see the statue for himself.

The statue was placed in his favorite park the end of 2013 and remained until the end of 2025; due to redevelopement at the park, it had to be moved.

Thank you to Calvary Catholic Cemetery for giving it a new home. (also where the boys tombstones are located) Forever grateful for your kindness.

HOW THE LORD HAS USED THIS LOSS

From 2012 to 2022 I had been dead in sin with no knowledge. I had searched high and low for peace, comfort and understanding. It wasn't until January 2023 that I encounted Jesus in a hosptial room that everything changed. I was set free and living for the Kingdom of God.

I received an email the end of 2025 that the statue needed to be moved. At this point I had no connection to the statue anymore. I was made new in Christ and the things of this world didn't have the same value it once had.

The statue idea came from an unholy place and I wanted nothing to do with the Kingdom of darkness.

I shared the infomation with some followers online who had also donated years ago.. they shared ideas and I went to my prayer closet with it all and seeked the Lord's face.

Since coming to Christ; ROMANS 8:28 has been a verse I hold very close to my heart and this is what the Lord had shown me:

He takes everything meant for evil and turns it for good. I had idolized my sons death, his fathers death and my grief for so long; it stopped after being saved; the Lord gave me peace and a sound mind.

I wanted to use this statue as a way to point others who may be in the same shoes I was in, to Christ. He is the only way. He is the truth, the way and the life.

THE HOPE OF THE GOSPEL

Julian's story is not ultimately about loss. It is about hope.

Because of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection; we have the promise of eternal life for all who place their faith in Him.

My greatest comfort is not found in memories alone, but in knowing that Jesus defeated death and that one day every tear will be wiped away.

If you are hurting, grieving, or searching for answers, my prayer is that this story would point you to the same Savior who rescued me.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
ROMANS 8:28

LETS WALK TOGETHER

Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.

Losing my son changed my life forever. For a long time, I was angry, broken, and searching for answers.

Ten years later, Jesus found me in the middle of all that pain and completely changed my life.

Now I spend my time sharing about Him, what He's done in my life, and the freedom that's only found in Christ.

On my Instagram, you'll find my testimony, encouragement, A devotional and whatever else the Lord puts on my heart to share.

Kingdom assignments and side quests for days!! :)

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”  - Psalm 34:18

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” - Matthew 5:4

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5–6

“…to grant to those who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.” - Isaiah 61:3

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10

Prayer Requests

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Julian.
More than anything, my prayer is that his story points
you to the same hope that changed my life: Jesus Christ

But seek first the kingdom of God and his
righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
